Birding around The Route of 100 Birds

John and I had a wonderful birding day in even hot weather, with a record of 66 species.

Photo: Spotted Redshank (Tringa erythropus)

Have a look at many more pictures and the complete list of birds observed!

The typical Winter thrushes have not reached El Torcal yet though we could spot a few “rare” birds in the surroundings of the Laguna Dulce such as Cormorants, Curlews and a Spotted Redshank. Lots of Golden Plovers have already arrived to the farmlands and many Greater Flamingos were enjoying this kind of late summer weather at the lake.

You can also live these experiences with us !!!
