Bird watching around Malaga province (Costa del Sol, Andalucia, Southern Spain)

John and I spent a fabulous birding day covering Montes de Malaga, El Torcal, Fuente de Piedra Lake and farmlands.

Have a look at the pictures and the complete list of 81 species observed!

The highlights of the day can be the beautiful songs of the Nightingale at Montes, the great views of Melodious and Bonelli’s Warbler, Black-eared Wheatear and Thekla Lark at El Torcal, the presence of Mediterranean Gulls and a feldegg race of Yellow Wagtail at Fuente de Piedra, and that moment at the farmlands when we had Little Bustard, Montagu’s Harrier and Short-toed Larks in front of us at the same time.

You can also live these experiences with us !!!
